Wildflowers

If I were stranded somewhere out at sea

It’s your face that I would want next to me

And it’s been so long since I have seen your ocean eyes

yet I know I could still recognize them

Let’s go sailing in the meadow through wildflowers

And we’ll grow so close in the meadow; we are wildflowers

We’ll think about all the things that we know

like one day we will reap what we sewed

And that smile of yours shining so bright

as our roots grow deeper holding each other tight

Let’s go sailing in the meadow through wildflowers

And we’ll grow so close in the meadow; we are wildflowers

Now we’re crossing bridges every weekend just to see each others faces

And the days in between they pull on meand slow me down like a ship at anchor

So, Let’s go sailing in the meadow through wildflowers

And we’ll grow so close in the meadow; we are wildflowers

Let’s go sailing in the meadow through wildflowers

And we’ll grow so close in the meadow; we are wildflowers

wildflowers wildflowers wildflowers wildflowers

We are wildflowers
